a mailbox stuffed full of fibery goodness from friends! This is what my mailbox lookedl like this morning. I just knew it was coming because my super fiber senses were tingling! I know about when the mailman will be here so it was hard not to stand out there and wait. Even harder to take the picture and not do a happy dance around the mailbox. Belive me, I have and it can look odd to, oh say a neighbor, driving by on our one horse road.
I've been fortunate to recently win a couple of drawing from gals on other fiber websites. I don't win things like that. Oops, I take it back. I won 5 lbs of potato chips at a Detroit Pistons basketball game when I was in elementary school. Ahhh, the memories... Ok, I'm back. A few weeks ago I won a drawing through The Fine Lime for Merino and Jacob fibers. Later that week I also won a drawing for an Alpaca/Milk fiber blend from Fluffington Farms. I also purchased some other fibers from these stores because the win gave me the opportunity to order and try some different fibers, too. I am wallowing in beautiful Merino and Jacob...along with Alpaca/Milk, Black Bamboo, Soy Silk, and a dyed roving called "Love in a Mist." I can't recall what it is exactly, but it feels like heaven. Trust me. Smiling & Waving, Sharon
I'm the queen of our farm, although the animals haven't figured that out yet. My title is Head Chicken Wrangler, but most days I'm called Mom. Life is a comedy and I plan on documenting it.
