Our policy lasts 30 days, excluding perishable items, whose policy lasts seven (7) days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. You're more than happy to contact us, though.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishables, such as our grocery items, cannot be returned. With that being said, please contact us if there's a problem with your item with in seven (7) days, even though we're unable to accept it's return, we still want to make things right with our customers.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Contact us regarding your refund request at hello@thesilvermaplefarm.com so we may discuss your need for an item return.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged due to our error. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@thesilvermaplefarm.com so we may confirm whether an exchange is available.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping
After contacting us to discuss your need for return or exchange, and after approval for your item’s return, you should mail your product to: 1670 Sever Rd., Frankfort, OH, 45628, United States.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless we specify otherwise. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund and have returned the item at our expense without our approval, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item and cannot be held responsible for items that have been lost in the mail system.

We strive to process orders within 2-3 business days. Some of our products are made to order and are specified as such in the product description. They may take a few extra days to process due to the time it takes to make them. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may also be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping rates & delivery estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We feel it’s important not to charge unnecessarily for shipping. Therefore, we pay an extra fee to our website server for the added benefit of real time shipping prices and your ability to select how you would like to receive your purchases.
Delivery delays can occasionally occur and are beyond our control.
Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses
The Silver Maple Farm ships to addresses within the U.S., U.S. Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. Any additional charges to do so will be at your, the sender’s, expense.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
The Silver Maple Farm is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
Damages
The Silver Maple Farm is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Additional Information Regarding Items You May Purchase
Gently hand wash any knit/woven/yarn items in cold water and then lay flat to dry when it comes time to wash them. Do not wring them out. When When purchasing fiber we trust that you know how to prepare and use it as to not cause felting. Also, if your purchase includes a fiber that has been dyed, please be aware that we thoroughly rinse our dyed items, but a light residual coloring may come out in your wash water initially.
