Do you know The Muffin Man...The Muffin Man...The Muffin Man?  Do you know The Muffin Man who's a vendor at the Chillicothe Farmers Market?  Ok, so it's not quite as good as the original song, but still, do you?  Yes, I know The Muffin Man...The Muffin Man...The Muffin Man...  Ok, I'll stop now.  Reminds me of singing lines from Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody earlier in the week but changing around the lines so they suited the situation.  But still, I do know The Muffin Man.
The Muffin Man, aka Chef William, aka Bill Bell, has been a staple at the Market for years now.  His yummy baked goods have graced my taste buds many many times.  He's another reason why I need to invest in some more time with Jillian Michaels.  The kids have visited his booth quite a few times, too, bringing back sweets to tempt me with when I wasn't able to get my own.
Yesterday I had a big decision to make...lemon poppy muffin or lemon poppy slice of cake...I'm a lover of lemon whether it be part of a drink or a food, and it was hard to choose one over the other.  I ended up going with the muffin.  It was an incredibly yummy choice.  I even played nice and shared 1/8 of it with Young'un.
Next time you're at the Farmers Market, which I figure will be Saturday, you really need to visit The Muffin Man.  He bakes up so many delectable edibles you will have a hard time making a decision as to which five goodies you'd like to take home.  My suggestion, choose six and eat one as you leave.  He's known to make awesome jumbo gourmet muffins (like the lemon poppy I enjoyed yesterday), triple fudge brownies, fruit bars, cakes, Irish soda bread, donut minis, smiley cakes, cookies, and gift "Minute Mugs."  Those Minute Mugs make a quick and easy gift if you're looking for something to put a smile on someone's face.  I don't know how he is able to stand behind so many goodies without eating them!
So, again, I ask...do you know The Muffin Man?  If you haven't met him yet, I highly suggest when Saturday rolls around again you make it a point to get to know him.  Your senses will thank you!  Smiling & Waving, Sharon

Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift.
