Fresh Baked Bread
Description
Our breads are baked to order using unbleached and unbromated flour. We need your order several days in advance for sourdough starters to do their thing, breads to rise, and us to get our baking ducks in a row.
Please note - I brush the tops of our rectangle pan loaves with egg to give them a nicer appearance and our Spent Grain Sandwich Bread also contains egg in the dough. If you are allergic to or do not eat eggs, please let me know in the "Additional Instructions" area and I'll omit it from your bread. The taste will still be delicious!
As with all of our baked goods, we have an order cut-off time of 10:00 p.m. on Sunday nights. Your order will be ready for pick-up on Thursday evenings of the same week between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m., unless other arrangements are made ahead of time. If you place your order after 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, it will be ready for pick-up the following Thursday. However, please feel free to call and see if we might be able to squeeze your order in, depending on our bake schedule and the prep time needed for your items. Around various holidays things may change to accommodate dinners and events. We will publicize any changes on this website, and also through the social media websites Facebook and Instagram.
Honey Oat - Made with honey from our chemical free beehives and Organic oats.
Oatmeal Stout - A flavorful bread made with Organic oats and Guinness Stout beer.
Rustic Country Sourdough - Not all bread has to be rectangle! This mild sourdough can be sliced for sandwiches, cut in wedges, torn into pieces...a versatile bread.
Sourdough Toasting - A slightly sweet sourdough that's all around delicious and our favorite family recipe from Aunt Liz.
Spent Grain Sandwich - A local friend brews beer and spent grains are a byproduct of the processes beginning. We happily make a delightful bread with them, which also includes the addition of egg from our ducks or chickens. If you do not eat eggs, please let me know and I will omit it from your bread. The taste and quality will still be delicious!
