Years ago someone gave me this recipe. They knew I'd enjoy it because I'm a genuine bonafide choc-a-holic, you see. I wish I remember who it was, although I'm sure it was a woman judging by the handwritten recipe. Other than that, I can tell you this is quick, easy, and something you'll enjoy making on and off no matter what time of year. I've made it when the weather is warm, topping it with fresh sliced fruit (and the powdered sugar, of course), buried it in a mountain of whipped cream, and included an avalanche of sprinkles for good measure.
